Aire provides support services together with the energy park and large-scale battery storage

Aire collaborates with PLS Energy Systems, which oversees the sustainability initiatives of Gislaved Energipark, and has now enabled the delivery of support services via Svenska kraftnät.

In Gislaved’s energy solutions, Aire’s optimization service for energy management is utilized. This enables the sale of the Frequency Containment Reserve Disturbance (FCR-D) service to Svenska kraftnät. FCR-D involves providing capacity from the energy source during sudden disturbances in the power grid, which is crucial for a functioning national electricity system today. Additionally, selling support services, besides optimized energy flows from the energy storage, also generates revenue streams for the owner of the energy resource.
